| 20.10.2004 Further price increase for polycarbonate sheets
Darmstadt, october 20, 2004. Faced with continuing substantial increases in the market pricing of polycarbonate resin, triggered by severe cost rises in the base components (especially Benzene), as well as increasing transportation and energy cost, Bayer Sheet Europe has no choice but to further pass on a part of those increases. Effective for all orders shipped as of 22 November 2004, a supplementary surcharge of 9 % will be applied on top of the already announced surcharges.
